Rumeli Fortress

Within walking distance of our dorm is not only Bebek, but also a 15th century fortress built during the collapse of the Byzantine empire as a last attempt to fight off the Ottoman expansion.


It was lots of fun (and terribly scary) to climb all the very steep and narrow stairs
