bike ride discovery--shopping

This Saturday morning, I felt kind of lonely and so decided that I need to snap out of it. How many times have I wished to be left alone and go live in a cave and escape from society? Many times. Whenever I'm too stressed, I just want to live in a cave and fish. It's become somewhat of a re-occuring image. So here was my chance! What did I end up doing? I ended up going to the most crowded places in Beijing. lol

Place 1: One of the underpasses near my apartment is taken over by Korean pop boy band paraphernalia on Sundays. Swarms of girls can be found under this intersection bridge purchasing posters, stickers, buttons, t-shirts, and whatever else you can think of but plastered with the face of a feminine kpop boy.

Place 2: A high class mall located in 西单,one of Beijing youth's favorite shopping locations. The place is the same as what I've seen in New York and Istanbul...but way more interesting from an outsider's perspective. I wish that I had worked up enough courage to get a picture of this, but girls here have fake eyes.
