Today, I spent 3+ hours on the internet researching. I spent minutes on wikipedia reading about architecture and sustainable design and then even more reading esoteric links like arcology and eco cities. I looked at possible architecture grad schools (Cal Poly and USC were two Californian schools that I looked into, and of course Yale has an architecture school as well).
Then I started reading about law school, law salary, and the different types of law one can practice. All of it just seems like it involves a LOT of reading...
what to do with my life? I don't want to be stuck in an office doing paper work and arguing about inconsequential details for the rest of my life, but I don't want to be poor either! I would like to be an architect so I can be the architect for my own house, how awesome would that be?
you should talk to our family friend Kirk! he's an architect and remodeled his own house!
ReplyDeletemake a pro/con list, a malleable one that you can add/subtract from as you learn/grow/research
ReplyDeletemarry a da kuan, duh :P
ReplyDeleteCome to Cal Poly!!
ReplyDeleteAnd building your own house would be awesome, you could make hidden passage ways for your kids that could still be architecturally sound, it would be so fun!
