Hey mom and dad, sorry about not telling you this earlier, but I actually did decide to go paragliding. I just didn't tell you because mom was saying that she was losing sleep over it. Don't worry though, it was very successful, and I am still alive! No reason to lose sleep over anything anymore. In fact, the only part that was scary was the beginning, when I sprinted off the 6500ft cliff, but after that, it was all very safe and smooth. I booked my jump with the company that had the best safety and service reputation. I figured, if I'm going to jump off a cliff with a complete stranger, I'm going to make sure I get the best quality stranger I can find (it is called Tandem flying, where a person who is inexperienced is tied to a person who is experienced, and they go together).
Yup, ALL IN ONE PIECE! Don't worry. I'm going to post the baby-step pictures, so you have some time to digest this new revelation.
And in the afternoon, I spent my time swimming near a little pretty beach called Oludeniz. :)
Tomorrow, I am going on a cruise from Fethiye to Olympos, passing through Patara, Kas, Kekova, and Demre. I will not be able to update on this blog on the boat, but don't worry! I'll still be alive.
Love you
Joy
