Epic

Today, I interviewed with Epic, a healthcare IT company in Madison Wisconsin. I don't know if I'm weird or something, but I really ENJOY interviewing and today's interview which lasted from 9am-4pm was a blast. There were many tours and many meetings with different people. My voice quivered the entire time for my 10 minute presentation, which was a bummer, but I stayed pretty comfortable in case studies and the other interviews, so I think overall, it was positive! Keeping my fingers crossed!
Nari and Kim would LOVE this place. Even though they are a multi-billion dollar company, their company entrance reads "Welcome to the Intergalactic Universe" (or something like that), and alllll of their buildings are themed and decorated according to their theme! There was Andromeda (which was very astronomical), Heaven (really white and with angels and happy things like slides and babies and flowers), and even Dungeons and Dragons, etc.

Beautiful holiday decorations against a Midwest sunset

  1. I remember interviewing at Epic last year. The campus is very nice, and apparently they even give you a small patch of farmland to grow whatever you want. However, still...Epic's kind of in the middle of nowhere.

BTW, did you have to take a technical assessment, too? They told me everyone has to take it, even if you're not applying for a technical position.

  2. I did have to take the test, and even though it's in the middle of nowhere, because the job I interviewed for is basically 50-70% traveling, I don't think it'll be too inconvenient. Plus, I heard that if you're working in other cities, instead of flying back to Madison for the weekend, you can opt to have them fly you to somewhere nearby (so Florida, New York, or California!)

I'm glad you are enjoying interviewing =)

    Thx for the shoutout.
