Day 4- Fethiye

After a seemingly interminable bus ride, we finally made it to the coastal city of Fethiye! Today wasn't so fun, as the majority of it was passed in a hot bus that seemed to stop for every hitch-hiker along the way...which were many. Highlights include watching the sunset from a Lycian tomb (reminescent of a mini Petra) and buying my fish from the fish market, bringing it to a resturant, and having them cook it for me (only 10TL!).
Also, the other day, the man at the Pamukkale entrance gate gave me a Muze Kart (a discount to musuem entrances in Turkey that is a reserved previlege for Turkish citizens! He must have gotten my Bogazici student ID confused, and thought it met the requirements for a Muze Kart. I can now get into museums completely freeee. This means lots of savings--that will presumably go into other spendings...)

A sarcophogus in the middle of the street, chilling like its nbd. I think this picture captures Turkey's chillax attitude rather well.
